Like all Residence Inn's this one has all the amenities. A little off the highway but once there surrounded by restaurants. There is even a mall down the block.

I rented a two bedroom lofted suite with a gas fireplace for $159. The suite was very nice, large and comfortable. I was not disappointed with the value at all. My only complaint is it was chilly and we couldn't find the thermostate anyplace in the unit. And there was a coffee maker but no coffee to make. A small...

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Residence Inn. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The room was a suite arrangement, which was not necessary for the two of us who were visiting family, but would be great for a family or group of people. We were on the first floor, and as I had read on...

Great stay for the business traveler. Nice Residence Inn, but could use some minor freshening up. Staff was excellent, breakfast in the morning (complimentary) was okay, free WIFI, pool onsite, basketball court onsite, pool table, foosball, large entertainment center in main building, staff was friendly, close to U of Notre Dame.
Rooms were nice but a little dated, but you...

We stayed here for the weekend with an amateur hockey team. The hotel was 10 minutes from Notre Dame campus. The staff was very accomidating when our team made it to the championship game at 4:00 on Monday and gave us a free late check out. Free hot breakfast in the morning. Lots of restaurants and stores close by. Rooms...

I have returned to this hotel several times and always come away impressed with the staff at all levels. The Residence Inn is starting to show its age but short of a complete rehab, there is little to offer for improvement inasmuch as they keep the place tip top! I'll return.
Three of us (my wife, her brother, and I) stayed here, as we were in South Bend for two nights of Notre Dame hockey games. We had a two-bedroom, two-bath "penthouse."
The good news: the rooms are spacious, and the bedrooms are split on two floors with a loft above for the second bedroom and bath. The grounds were reasonably...

After spending plenty of time at the downtown Marriott on Joseph st, I needed a place where I could cook more meals while in S. Bend. I also wanted to save some money. While I enjoyed having a kitchen, here are some of the pros and cons to staying at the Residence Inn.
Pros: Free internet. Free Breakfast. Better temperature...

We stayed here for one night with our family (2 small children) while driving cross-country. Though we had a little trouble finding the hotel, and the neighborhood was not quite what I expected, our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The room was a good size with a queen bed and pull-out sofa bed. We did enjoy the breakfast, but did...

If you know what to expect with residence inn hotels, there is nothing different with this place. Service was good, free breakfast and dinner was good. New fridge in room was nice. I used the weight room, it had an elliptical, treadmill, bike, and a bosu ball. This hotel is 5mins from notre dame. 4 out of 5 stars.
