We were in town for a family funeral. Bums passed out in the parking lot. Beds were uncomfortable. Ice machine was perpetually broken. Rates were too high. Hotel was dirty. No evidence of amenities. Desk clerk was an unwelcoming control freak. We switched hotels the next night. Got better beds, a warmer welcome, a working ice machine and lower rates.

Have stayed all over the country, this place is a 30 dollar room they want 55 for. Was very upset and will never go back. The floors are dirty and this place smells bad. Anyone who has to travel often will know

Chose the room based on reviews. The room was fine, but the clerk insisted on copying my driver's license. It had been booked and paid for through Travelocity. Service starts with the staff. Susan and Carmen are exceptional!! Location was great and the restaurant next store offered 10% off for staying at Village Inn. Rooms are very clean and the rate is very reasonable. We will be returning 2012 for the State Fair.
