My mother and sister and I recently stayed at the "American House Inn" in Mcgregor Iowa for a getaway weekend, and it was fabulous! We stayed in the lower suite of the now renovated hotel, and we had the whole lower section of the hotel. It has been beautifully restored, and was one of the best hotels we have ever... More
