We were arriving late and checking out early, so we had no need of any extra frills. ays Inn was the lowest cost in the area, and the closest to our appointment the next day. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable, WI-FI worked well, comfortable bed and hot shower.

This is a very nice place to stay- Had a problem with an outlet- told them at 10 PM and it was fixed the next day before I returned. Room was very clean- Hotel was very quite- places to eat near by

The owners and Staff were very accommodating during my long-term stay for business. They were friendly and eager to make sure the room was comfortable and clean; also making sure I had what I needed; i.e. microwave and refrigerator. The property is also located close to everything in Ottumwa.

As we checked in there was a smell of cigarette smoke in the air. Even though Iowa is a smoke free state, this hotel has smoking rooms and it lingered out into the hallway. Our family stayed just one night at this Days Inn and we found it to be very basic and clean. The property itself appeared very new. Their pool and hot tub were nice and clean as well.
