“Weird service, awful bed”

The weird service started at the front desk. When I checked in, the man at the counter chided me for booking the room through an online reservation instead of by calling his hotel directly. Staying here for business. Coworker staying at Sheldon motel for 25$ I'm paying 70$ Sheldon motel scared me from the looks of the outside but after my coworker invited me in it was the same quality as the super 8 and it also had micro fridge something super 8 only has in select rooms. “Not like the super 8's we are used to”

We had been driving forever, and not coming across anywhere with availbaility in this remote section of Iowa. It was a last ditch effort, as most Super 8's don't have the most comfortable beds. We asked to see the room to check the beds(at 1 AM ), as I have back problems. The front desk gentleman was more than accomadating.... More

What a nice surprise! I thought this motel was new, but it's 11 years old. Clean, clean and well-maintained. Very nice staff too.
