We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Sage Inn in Dover, Kansas, and although we live about 20 minutes west, it was as if we had stepped back in time. The Benjamins have done an outstanding job with this B&B. Dover is a tiny town, but it is only 15 miles from Topeka and I-70. This is actually a bed and breakfast, situated just west of Topeka. We have stayed here twice -- a week each time. The inn was the original stagecoach stop where the Oregon Trail and Santa Fe trails met. It is out in the country and full of character. The hosts are friendly and helpful.
