I pass through Hutchinson about once a year with my band and stay at this Hotel everytime we do.Haven't had any problems with our reservations or our rooms. The maids are very nice and with the new owners the place is really coming together.

Now known as the Sunflower Inn: the only good thing about the hotel was the water pressure. Everything is very old and run down. Staff was friendly enough but the carpet was dirty, mold in the bathroom that they were attempting to cover with caulking and the bedding, etc was very, very worn.

I called around for the best rate and this hotels had the best rate in Hutchinson. The Clerk was friendly and room was cleaned and nice. Highly Recommend. Great Place.

The Scottsman was better than I expected. The room was clean and comfortable. A flourescent light was out above the bathroom sink but they fixed it right away. Make sure to bring a folding chair.
