Never enough staff at desk, phones ringing off the hook with only 1 person working the desk and a line of people to check in. There should always be two people at the front desk. Other than the service issue, it was a nice, clean hotel and pleasant staff.

My son has been a college student in Lawrence, KS and every time I come to visit I stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lawrence! It is always immaculately clean, quiet, reasonably priced and spacious with LOTS of great restaurants and shopping nearby. Always a safe bet for a comfortable stay!

This is the hotel my Army Reserve unit puts us up in, when we have an overnight function. The staff knows me by name. The rooms are clean, well-maintained and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are also clean and well-taken care of. There's a bike/running trail right outside the south door.
