We knew what we were getting in to before we stayed here because we read the other tripadvisor reviews. They were correct, but we just needed a cheap bed for a night while passing through KC. Our room didn't have any climate control because the wall a/c and heater unit was broken, but luckily it was a nice day outside... More

Avoid like the plague! There were cockroaches scurrying around when I checked in so I rang the front desk. She claimed she was going to change my room but never did. I wake up in the morning and notice the desk is crawling with roaches. Seriously don't even bother.

We do not have roaches in the hotel. Inspections are done 2 times a month and are regulated. We have a company that comes in and sprays twice a month (just as most hotels do) because guests unknowingly bring insects in with their baggage so it is just a policy to perform this task. We would be happy to make... More

OK, a hotel room normally costs $42.50 but on Nascar race weekend it was $92. How can we regulate gas stations from price gouging but can not regulate hotels. All the hotels in Lenexa had doubled their room prices. This needs to be controlled. As for the Knights Inn, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were the... More

We are pleased you liked the staff. The rooms were at the lower end of the prices that are charged for Nascar Weekend hotels. Some of the hotels were charging as much as $400.00 a night closer to the event. this type of situation has been going on for many years in many businesses it is called supply and demand.... More

This place is incredibly cheap for the area and so is run in a tough, prison-like manor. Having a lousy breakfast available only at 7 a.m,. and then for 2 hours only, is symptomatic. There is often confusion when entering the immediate area with the nicer Days Inn next door. But at least I got through the night at Knights... More

GET what you pay for is the idea behind any business isn't it? The public asked for an economical stay in these hard times and our hotel is giving it to you. The frills are if you want to pay for a room that has an amazing breakfast that when in fact you can pay $10.00 for one down the... More

My entire family came to town for a family reunion. Many of us had rooms booked here. We got our rooms, looked inside and turned a pillow and there was a bed bug. We tried three other rooms and all of them had bed bugs. For your health, stay away from here.

Bed bugs is a national epedemic. It is not due to cleanliness of rooms but comes in off of guests, shoes, suitcases, animals etc. We have made some major changes to policies to try and keep the critters out of our hotel, which by the way you will find them at the most expensive hotels in this area. We no... More

This motel is disgusting. From the outdoor halls to would be carpeting, filthy dirty windows throughout - all rooms and vestibules, like you cannot see out of them. Lots of shaddy people in parking lot wandering and lingering around. Ice machines broken and outdoor lights busted or no globes. Now that is just the outdoors. Indoors is worse. Vomit/mud on... More

It's very good to know that you are so conscientious to write so many reviews on hotels. I am surprised to hear you say you had a poor experience at our hotel as our hotel is extremely clean and we have a wonderful housekeeping staff. I have seen the rooms and spot checked them after staff have completed their tasks.... More

I called and requested a handicapped room and they told me no problem. When I arrived they said they had no shower chairs and did not know what they were. Besides that it was dirty. I'll never go back

Our hotel meets the guidelines of providing handicapped accessible rooms. No hotel provides shower chairs for the rooms. I checked with some of the other hotels in the area and each one told me that they are not aware of any hotels that provide shower chairs. I understand your frustration. I spoke with you myself and did attempt to put... More

Rooms are somewhat dirty, and air conditioner was very noisy. The cleaning crews do clean the rooms, but it needs remodeling. There is not much to work with.
