My husband and I recently stayed at Pixy Manor, a one bedroom cabin in the woods. It is THE most romantic cabin we have encountered... AND CLEAN. Two full bathrooms in a one bedroom cabin, and all the comforts of home... loved it. The views from the private hot tub were beautiful. We loved every single moment, and looking forward... More

They defiantly overcharge for their "services." They say they bill you for a cleaning fee, which includes the grill. The grill is not cleaned and the cabin is not cleaned. I'm sure they wipe down surfaces with some sort of cleaning agent and a dirty rag, but there was drywall falling off the walls in the bathroom that was not... More

Management played the "bait and switch" game. We made our reservations two months in advance. Upon our arrival, the property we'd rented was suddenly unavailable. The only option given to our group of ten people was to stay in another rental which was "one of their best." Well, if this rental was one of their best, they had better think... More

My suggestions - Stay Somewhere Else. Beautiful places to stay other than this resort. Takes almost 10 - 12 minutes from house to just get to 27. Our families have stayed at over 15 summer houses (rentals) through the years. Never have I submitted a poor review. 199W - King of the Mountain. House would have been very nice if... More

Great view, very uncomfortable beds. The resort had printed notes on everything, threatening financial penalties. You have to put your sheets and pillowcases on your beds, before you leave, strip your beds, drive the trash to the dumpsters, basically, YOU are housekeeping. We were not expecting daily houskeeping, but for the quality of the resort and no housekeeping, it was... More

We stayed in unit 314C for Christmas. It was great! Beautiful views even in the dead of winter. The cabin itself was really nice! Way better than a crummy, cramped hotel. Super clean, plenty of dishes and cookware, nice fireplace, private hot tub and bonus air hockey table! The cabins are in a community and are a little close together... More

Beautiful area, nice cabin location. Loved the screened in front porch and back deck. Loved having the gas grill available. Very quiet and relaxing. Drawbacks would be hot tub only really accommodated two people at a time...could have used a dishwasher and laundry center...and more towels and dishcloths...other than that I would highly recommend this resort. The drive is a... More

We found the resortat the last minute, and they were more than happy to accomodate us on short notice. We stayed in cabin 211 and it was great! Super clean, updated, had everything we needed , along with a screened in porch and hot tub! I would definitely recommend this resort and I will absolutely be back!!

We stayed at a property called "King of the Mountain". It was perfect for our family - grandparents, two couples and two babies. We each had a floor to ourselves, and the views are incredible! However, for the amount charged, the owners need to update the beds and bedding. Every one of the mattresses crackled and crunched with every turn... More

I have stayed at Lake Cumberland many times in the past 20 years. Love the resort. However, I recently reserved a cabin for a business meeting like I have doen so many times before. The first nights total for the cabin was charged to my bank the day I made my reservation (this was not a hold on funds) When... More
