We go to Lake Barkley Lodge at least 3 times a year. Wonderful lodge with perfect little balcony overlooking lake. Good buffet's, very helpful staff. Grounds are beautiful and there is also an outdoor pool and indoor pool with exercise room and sauna that we love during the winter.

Lake Barkley Lodge was a wonderful getaway. Nestled in a beautiful state park on the lake it was total relaxation. It has an indoor pool but you have to drive to use it was the only disadvantage. Rooms are rustic but comfortable. Had a great time

If you are looking for a quiet stay or a fun family trip, this is the place for you. My family have traveled here ever since I was a little kid and every stay has been wonderful. I highly recommend staying for 4 nights or more in order to fully experience the whole resort.

My wife and I recently spent several days at Lake Barkley Lodge. Even though the property is several tears old, it apperars to have been well maintained. My husband and I are retired and recently moved here from Maryland and live not far from this facility. We went there on Thursday, September 8, 2011 for lunch.
