This place was a super nice, hotel. MOST helpful desk lady. We booked an overnite ghost hunt at Waverly Hills Sanitorium. The lady at the desk offered to do a wake up call at 10:45 for us, and make a fresh pot of coffee for us. And EVEN a late check out for us at no charge! The room was... More

My sister and I stayed at the Microtel during our recent visit to the Kentucky Derby. This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this hotel and I highly recommend it. “Recent visit”

All personnel were overboard at being helpful. The rooms were clean and we always had fresh pillows and bathroom items were replaced as needed. The breakfast was adequate and all personnel again were very courteous and helpful.

“Good stay for the price”

Good value. Plenty of places to eat close by. Good location, easy access to downtown and Churchill Downs, zoo. Downtown Lousiville is 15 minutes away where rooms were $100-$150 more expensive. Breakfast was fine, Rooms clean. Would stay here again.

Within the last six months we have stayed at this hotel twice (October 2011 and April 2012). Rooms are small but clean. Location is excellent - close to restaurants and the interstate. Good value, clean, quiet, plenty of nearby resturants, and nice staff. The only downside was a very small breakfast area (only 2 tables) and very few items to choose from.

Desk/work are on opposite side of very small room from phone. Tv can't be seen from desk which is a small shelf. Who designed these rooms?? Tastefully decorated and clean.

Two-night stay March 16, 17, 2012. This is my new "go to" hotel in Louisville! I am impressed! This Microtel is in a nice neighborhood, clean inside and out.
