This hotel is in a very quiet location off the interstate 64. We had a handicapped accessible suite that was acceptable. Decent breakfast selection but I always like the waffles.
Pros - by far the cheapest 2 or 2 1/2 star hotel in the Morehead area. It was $20 to $40 less per night that similar Morehead area hotels

staff willing to help
continental breakfast - not great, but not bad either
quite

Cons - Isolated, even from the rest of...

We enjoyed our stay. This hotel is a little further away from Morehead than the other hotels in the area, so you may want to consider this if you have business in Morehead. We stayed in the only "suite" in the hotel. It appeared to be what used to be a adjoining room that was converted to a living area....

Stayed here one night after visiting Carter Caves State Park. As value oriented travelers not impressed by the frills more expensive options offer, we found this motel quite acceptable. We had a lg king bed with fridge & microwave, 2 chairs, computer desk, flat screen TV and an exercise room available. The motel was clean and quiet. We did not...

We are Choice Hotels Elite Diamond customers. When first getting to our room we commented we felt it was at the lower end of the typical Comfort Inn Suites hotels. When getting ready for bed, we discovered an unwelcome crawly slimy thing going up the wall beside the bed. By the next morning two more were discovered. Yes, it was...

Often times the service at a hotel makes all the difference in your stay. I had requested a non-smoking room but I had been booked online for a smoking room. The desk clerk gladly changed me to a non-smoking room and then bumped it up to a suite because of all my troubles. Then, I needed to stay an additional...

The room was huge ( 1 king bed, good sized work table, refrigerator, microwave, love seat, easy chair). The bathroom was also quite large. It was very well maintained and smelled good. 60+ TV channels. The staff was very cheerful. Breakfast was good - hardboiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, bread, pastries, bagels, yogurt, juices and coffee. However, the...

The rooms were basically clean. We had reserved a non-smoking room which smelled of cigarette smoke. The desk clerk was very good about changing our room. to one that did not smell of smoke.
We were very satisfied with our room, and the hotel in general.
The breakfast area was open at 6AM, which was perfect for us since we had to check out early in the morning for a seminar in Morehead. The young woman at the front desk could not have been nicer. She inquired if we were happy with our room...
