The Thrifty Inn is a very familiar hotel to me. On a monthly basis I go there. It is a little "over in the corner" but for the price and the area it is located in I recommend staying there! Booked through Hotels.com going down the road. Reservation was not at the hotel when we arrived. I cancelled and started over. Desk personnel was a little confused but very nice. Room was ok. This was a good location to see the sights in and around Paducah. Inexpensive, clean and safe. There were restaurants nearby as well as shopping and easy access to everything we wanted to visit; the quilt museum, the historic district, and the casino in Metropolis. The continental breakfast was minimal - I wouldn't recommend it.

Thrifty Inn in Paducah was surprisingly nice. Large, clean room, comfortable bed. Convenient parking. No surprises - they welcomed our medium-sized dog, no fuss. Very economical. Light continental breakfast (cereal, bagels, toast, juice). No complaints at all! Many restaurants nearby.

Staff was courteous. Received a 1st floor room as requested. Pet friendly. Comfortable bed, adequate towels. Decorating was older but did not impact on the rest of the visit. Many dining opportunities in this area.

Room was full of spiders and the bed was very uncomfortable. Will never stay here again!

This room was huge. It was clean and comfortable. There was a recliner and another nice comfortable chair to sit and watch television from without having to lay on the bed to watch television. The front desk was friendly. I wished I could have stayed a little longer.
