About 30 min to Churchill Downs, this was a convenient location outside Louisville. Very nice large rooms and a friendly helpful staff. The Denny's breakfast is from a limited menu, but with a choice of bacon & eggs, French toast, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, and oatmeal there is plenty of choices. It was only 25 minutes away from the Derby. The room was nice. Bartender Kelly was awesome! Love her! It was nice having Denny's next door b/c they don't have food at the hotel. Our first time to the "Beautiful state of Kentucky" for the Derby. We stayed in Shepherdsville just a short drive to Churchill Downs at the Best Western Plus South a nice clean hotel ,spacious rooms and a friendly staff of people. “Right off I-65”

Nice BW conveniently located on the way to Florida. Staff was great and they have a cocktail lounge after a long day of driving. We'd definately stay there again. Used a coupon from one of the travel brochures which was great. They don't have an elevator, but it was ok.
