Very disappointed with the La Quinta West Bank. We mostly always stay at La quintas when we visit America and are always impressed. The room was very small and smelled of blocked drains. The shower took at least 10 minutes to regulate and even then kept changing temperature when we were in it. Neighbour hood children played in the pool...

Checked into the La Quinta Inn Gretna after cancelling reservations at Super 8 because the neighborhood was too seedy. Room rates are very reasonable for the New Orleans area, where almost every hotel room seems overpriced; anyway, on with the review.
GOOD-The front desk clerk who checked my family in was very polite and outgoing. He even called the room...

I was very skeptical about my hotel stay. I had done lots of researching online to try and find a hotel that fit my budget and didn't seem to be bug ridden and dirty. I had originally planned to stay at Sleep Inn, but we got a better rate here and my friend, who was in the area, checked it...

I was pleasantly surprised to find the room super clean and smelled great as well. The location was great. A mall was located next door and it was easy to get to the Algiers ferry to go to the quarter. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be staying here when I come to New Orleans again.
I loved the hotel and the staff was very helpful and friendly, especial the guard name Steward, I thank God for so many helpful and nice people. I was very grateful for everything that they told me about you all's city. Keep up the good work God has truly blessed you all.
This was a place to stay until something better opened up as SEC tourney fans left New Orleans when their teams lost!!! If you just have to get there and can't find anything in the city, then this will do. Staff was friendly enough but the room wasn't anything to write home about. I equate it to "camping out"! We...

The staff was very friendly, but the rooms were very dirty. The mattress was urine stained and the sheets and towels had stains. The room smelt of animal pee. We have stayed at La Qunitas before and they were very nice but this one was not good. Would never stay here again nor would we ever refer anyone to this...
