We got to Monroe late, and there was a highschool baseball tournament going on! When we
were lucky enough to get a room here, we were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and helpful the staff was. I have a knee problem and they upgraded us to a better room at no cost.
The hotel is old, but everything was clean,...

There must have been something big going on in Monroe, LA because La Quinta was the only hotel that had a room. Where do I begin. The lady at the front desk during checking was not friendly at all. We went to our room and there was just one set of towels for 3 of us that checked in. Dirty...

Passing thru Monroe, LA and found this place for $33. Outdoor rooms, decent bed, above avg tv. Worst part was shower/bathroom which was old and shower was ok. At least the water was warm. I would stay here again but only if I was trying to save $$
Seriously, I feel like I live at this hotel because I've stayed at it so much! I've read the recent reviews and I'm not sure what the "family visit" issue was completely. First of all, you're going to wait until morning to pull back the sheets to check for bed bugs? I have stayed here SEVERAL times in SEVERAL different...

For what we paid for it was just fine. I don't know people earlier were talking about. It was clean and fresh inside the hotel. There is an outdoor odor from the wetlands nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful

After checking in to our room, I went for ice and noticed several people knocking on doors, handing money in and small packages coming...

The rooms were very clean, the front desk...

This hotel is not in the best location but we have never had any problem there and have stayed many times. The rooms are decent and clean. Its close to the local mall. The breakfast is good, typical waffle boiled eggs yogurt cereal and coffee. The front desk staff at this hotel is great. Most have been there for ages...

One of the old style la quintas with outside corridors which I like but the rooms are not very clean, and ours came with crickets. Towels seemed to come from the Super 8 i stayed in once. They do take pets and that's why I was here. This is mostly a blue collar weekly hotel. Stay on the West side...
