We can echo other reviews- the food is delicious, Jim is an excellent Chef, he and Scott are warm gracious hosts. It is also great conversation- they have traveled the world, lived and worked in exotic lands, Jim has taught English, Biological Science at the university level- great fun to talk to them. Relaxing, enjoyable stay. Linda and Stan

Jim and Scott made us feel at home straight away. They were full of advice on where to eat and what to visit. Jim's breakfasts are excellent and he is happy to share the recipes! A great location; just a short stroll from the old town along the pavement/sidewalk.

Thanks. It was a joy sharing the Northwestern State University dance department's concert while you two were here. We enjoy sharing the talents of the performing arts students with you. We appreciate that you chose us to stay with and look forward to seeing you in your travels. More

We recently stayed at the Chez des Amis and had a fabulous time. Jim and Scott, the innkeepers, are amazing...truly gracious, charming, warm, and inviting. They opened their house to us and made us feel at home. Jim is an extremely gifted chef. The curried eggs benedict he made for us were unbelievable.....absolutely 5 stars. When you visit Natchitoches, stay... More

Chez des Amis is on Washington Street, just one block off the main street in Natchitoches (Front Street) ... a perfect location to experience the charm of the city! Scott & Jim were gracious hosts and Jim's breakfasts were delicious.

We just returned from our overnight stay in Natchitoches-we have been there many times but never stayed overnight there. This was our first experience with a B&B so I didn't have anything to compare it to. Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome immediately- our room was very nice with period antiques and a large bathroom. It... More

My husband and I made reservations to stay at Chez des Amis in November, for my son's upcoming graduation from Northwestern State University, which was taking place in December. We knew this quaint town would be packed because people come from everywhere to experience the Christmas festival which was also going on during our visit. I was a little concerned... More

This was my first time in the South, and Jim and Scott gave me the best impression of Southern hospitality! This bed and breakfast was the most reasonably priced for the area, especially since it's right next door to the more famous Sugar Cane Inn. Jim and Scott stayed up especially so that they could check us in, gave us... More

We arrived to Natchitoches LA late on a Sunday evening. I had reviewed all of the B&B's ahead of time on trip advisor, but since our trip was a road trip I was not too sure what day we would actually arrive to Natchitoches so i did not book ahead of time. I called Chez des Amis when we were... More

My husband and I were looking for a place to spend our twentieth anniversary. After looking over all the B & B's in Natchitoches we chose Chez des Amis. What a wonderful time we had! From the first phone call to the final hug when we walked out the door, Jim and Scott made our comfort their priority. We stayed... More

Deciding on a last minute stop in Natchitoches during a roadtrip from Florida to Texas, my mother and I pulled into town about 5 pm on a Sunday night. It is always our pleasure to help those who travel through town and we are one of the few B&Bs who have a human pick up the phone when you call.
