“Great Stay. Great Value some basic not included but Lots features.”

The hotel was a great deal with a Government Rate. Lots at home features. Stove top, pots pans, plates full size fridge with Ice maker. Some things not included. NO Ice machine. No room service unless you ask. VERY LOW BAND WIDTH INTERNET. All based on WIFI that is bear minimum. Outstanding Staff with a welcome Gumbo the first night.... More

Love the hotel but please get a higher speed internet. Hotel was fine but internet would hit and miss on my cell phone and laptop. Would stay here again if I am in that area (if the internet is better)

“One of the Friendliest places I've Stayed”

Overall the staff is very courteous, friendly and do their best to make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and well kept. The internet can be hit or miss at times. The location is very convenient for my needs.

Love the hotel and the staff. I have come to love everything about Candlewood suites from the regular sized fridge to the popcorn provided in the microwave. I was in New Iberia, LA for a funeral and Candlewood is on a great strip for fast food and family restaurant's. As usual the time in the room was enjoyed with movies... More

“Like the rooms but staff cleaning people not motivated.”

Always liked the chain until this place. I understand the long term once a week cleaning of the rooms but after 11 days and 2 requests the room was poorly cleaned (no attempt to clean or vaccum the floors) and items in the kitchen (soap towels ect...) were not replaced. “Candlewood Suites is Good Alternative to LaQuina Suites”

Although the Candlewood Suites is just one room, it has all the facilities of a two room suite for less money. great service from check in on. i celebrated my 65th birthday while at the hotel. when they found out it was my birthday they delivered me a small gift and card. this was well beyond the call of duty. room was clean, and hotel has free washer and dryer. Very pleased with the hotel and its staff.

This is a standard chain "suite" hotel. It is located on a commercial strip in close driving distance to local attractions, New Iberia's "downtown", and freeways. There are various chain restaurants and fast food joints close by (even within walking distance, though you'd be walking along the highway). “Like Candlewood USED to be.”

This Candlewood was newer, and as nice as these used to be when they first opened years ago. The staff was awesome. I'm not used to Candlewood having a pool, so that was a bonus. No complaints, and I would stay here, even if my business was going to be in Lafayette.

This hotel was wonderful! We had never heard of this chain before checking online for one in this area. The rates are extremely reasonable and has everything you need for a long stay.
