I took a 4-day solo retreat at Kismet Inn to fast and re-find myself and had the most amazing and transformative experience there. This was completely due to Shadi's (the owner and hostess) accommodation and loving compassion. Out of respect for my fast, she actually turned down other guests so that I could have the inn to myself (so that... More

The inn is nestled into a quaint little town right on the water that is the definition of serene. The inn itself is wonderful! The floors are heated, the food is impeccable, and the hostess, Shadi, is the most warm, friendly, and sweetest woman you could possible meet. She really makes your stay. Her cooking will change your life (Make... More

This charming inn is a unique blend of Persian decor, wonderfully aromatic , delicious meals, and gracious service coupled with optional, easy yoga and environmental sensitivity. Shadi, the hostess, is gracious and helpful in advising guests of local attractions.

I love so much about the inn and my boyfriend and I left feeling refreshed and serene! The deep soaking tub is amazing and so relaxing. Also the yoga class in the morning alone would have been worth the whole stay. There is a beautiful studio upstairs that you will have to see for yourself. The yoga teacher was wonderful... More

My husband and I spent a rejuvenating night here in September. The nurturing quality of this inn took us by surprise. Every detail is thoughtful, from the custom designed beds to the fabulous bathrooms and the delectable food - such a delightful alternative to the clone hotels. Our room looked out over the park in front of the Bath library.... More

What an awesome and authentic inn. I arrived in Bath without a hotel reservation on a work related trip. While in the car, I searched on yelp for an inn recommendation and I came across this lovely inn. I agree with one of the other reviews, this is indeed a dreamy place. It is a wonderful place to get lost... More

Kismet Inn is a one of a kind retreat for numerous reasons. Shadi, the inn keeper, has made her b&b a magical place. You can tell she has poured her heart into the inn by the details of the interior design and the care she puts into all the prepared meals. Everything is considered so that you walk into an... More

What a great place Shadi has made of the Kismet Inn. All the rooms are unique, very well appointed and comfortable. Our room had a special, built-to-order sleigh bed as well as other furnishings custom made to Shadi's specifications. We regret we were staying but one night and could not make use of the Roman soaking tub. Breakfast was wonderful,... More

We choose the The Kismet Inn to disconnect from our busy lives and we were not disappointed. From the moment we entered the Inn we knew that relaxation and peace were awaiting us. Our room was beautiful with a bed that was beyond belief. We requested coffee and cream before the morning yoga and when we walked down in the... More

Dearest Ellen, it was indeed a pleasure to meet and host both of you. I loved it when you came down sat on the stool started sharing your interesting stories while I prepared the coffee and the other guests followed you. It was a fine gathering of guests in the kitchen just before the yoga class started. Kate, the yoga... More

Dear Kathryn, it was such a pleasure to see the four of you sitting with the other couple from California by the fire, sipping on tea, eating the chocolate dates I had just made and the quinoa pear cake with vanilla bean gelato from Gelato Fiasco in Brunswick. I loved it when all of you asked for more tea and... More
