The Sudbury Inn is a charming place even though the rooms are in desperate need of a makeover. We had dinner at the pub which is very conveniently located downstairs at the inn. The food and service was great. The included breakfast which was served in the dining room was not that great and the choices very limited.

The Suds Pub is a must if you are visiting Bethel. The diningroom at the Inn is excellent but the rooms are horrid. They are outdated and uncomfortable. The room we stayed in had no night side table. The hole where the smoke detector was suppose to be had wires hanging out but no detector. The only light that worked... More

just got back from staying at the sudbury inn, in the carriage house apartment with 7 other people. The apartment is huge and reasonably priced, i have stayed on the mountain many times, and the condos you stay in there are generally much smaller and much more expensive. The food store and pub are both within walking distance, and for... More

Just stayed in the Apartment and it was an excellent location for kid's vacation week. Plenty of room in this suite for our three kids - a whole bedroom on the first floor to spare! The kitchen is clean and modern so stock up on supplies and save yourself from eating out every night. The only missing necessity is a... More

Stayed here in one of the suites for a few days skiing at Sunday River (best mountain in the New England!!) Our stay at the Sudbury Inn was a perfect stay, not because it is such a high end inn, rather because of its great value. We stayed in a very large suite (#14) so my husband and I were... More

Travel often leads to surprises-good and not so good. The Sudbury Inn certainly is a surprise in the very good category.Had our stay been longer we would have moved to the Sudbury Inn tho our B&B was fine. We had planned our "research" of the Sudbury Inn's pub "Suds"-a classic pub in so many ways from most accommodating bartender, to... More

Bethel is a small, cute, historic town on Route 2. Skiing and summer crowd accentuate the locals. Stopped at Sudbury Inn looking for a beer, food and a bed and they delivered all in one spot. Good eats downstairs at Suds Pub, great selection of beers and booze, and my room upstairs had a comfy bed, clean bath, and New... More

Stayed in May 2012 and I believe the room was very average,in saying that the price was right...so perhaps you get what you pay for!! It was the off season, so breakfast was not available... which wasn't a problem, as we went to a lovely cafe further up the street, average cleanliness and not overly comfortable bed.Probably would not return ,but... I don't get all these rave reviews on this site about this place. The bathroom was litterally filthy, scum all around the corners, and the trim around the tub was warped and dirty. Bedding was beautiful on the king size bed, antique cathode ray TV tube with limited channels. Good wifi reception. Dirty carpet in room. Alot of street noise... More

My husband and I along with another couple take cross-country ski weekends every January & February and find ourselves returning to the Sudbury Inn often. After a day out on the trails, we love having our breakfasts and dinners in one place. The service and food are top notch in the restaurant upstairs and we always have our more casual... More
