Demand to see your room before you pay to make sure you get what you reserved. When we checked in to get our 2 bed suite with a balcony, there was a conversation with the employees behind the counter, one said to the other on I know about this one I will handle it. She didn't offer an explanation, and... More

Spent the weekend at the Bethel Inn Resort. We rented connecting upper and lower condos. The staff was fantastic and went out of their way to accommodate us. The condo was spacious and spotlessly clean. We loved the deck and view of the golf course. Highly recommend spending a little more for a condo.

The Bethel Inn is a lovely location but as others have mentioned, the room rates are high for what you get. Rooms in the Inn have razor thin walls. You can hear every word spoken in the adjoining room. The bar closes at nine which I guess can be expected in a small, mountain town.

Ski package...lift ticket and accommodations ... just a hop, skip, and a jump to the mountain. After a fabulous day of skiing, returned to Bethel Inn for half price apps and $2 draughts in their quaint bar downstairs, then relaxed in the outdoor, heated pool/jacuzzi. Fabulous breakfast. Buffet in the restaurant upstairs in the morning. Very clean, spacious room, pleasant... More

900 something dollars for 4 days in a luxury suite out of season should buy you some form of luxury. It doesn't at the Bethel Inn. Suite needs new furniture and a new carpet . The stains are unacceptable. The couch in the " living room area" was so battered that I got a bad back from it. Sheets are... More

Condo was nice setup except: the beds were terrible, all four adults ended up with neck or back pain. Hot water pipe rattled loudly inside walls. Also, not the end of the world but it was a pain - they have no Wi-Fi in the condo. Heat very hard to manage, slept with open window all night to keep from... More

Friends and I had a fun time exploring the Bethel Inn's xc ski trails this past week. We did not stay at the Inn, we only went to ski. We skied on groomed trails for about two hours along parts of their golf course and then into the woods. The folks that run the ski shop were very helpful and... More

Very disappointed with everything. Will never go back the beds were hard it was like staying at a Super 8 with the Ritz Carton prices. And did I mention the bartender or the free breakfast? The coffee was like mud and the potatoes were yesterday's.

Bethel is the classic New England village. The structures on Main, Church and Broad Streets are predominantly from the nineteenth century and are nestled in a snow-covered landscape yet the town is a real working town, not a Disney-esque fairy tale. The folks are rugged Mainers and very friendly and helpful. Our accommodations at the Inn were actually a condo-style... More
