When our planned vacation had to be cancelled at the last moment, we were left scrambling to find something...anything...for a vacation. Every single New England Beach remotely near us was booked solid for months in advance. After spending hours and hours on the phone and internet, we stumbled upon Cedarholm. We were somehow fortunate enough to find four nights in... More

Why this inn is not rated as one of the very best in Camden I will never know. The cottages are first class, the view is phenominall. I have never stayed in a place that was so clean. The perennial garden is one of the best I have ever seen. Anyone that is interested in seeing gardens should not miss... More

I have never seen a more beautiful place in my life. The cottages are spectacular. There are only six cottages and they overlook the ocean. They're as close to the ocean as possible actually. Lots of places have ocean views but Cedarholm Garden Bay Inn is right at the ocean's edge. The footpaths and gardens are peaceful and simply amazing.... More

We have been traveling to the Camden area for 4 years, and this year our typical choice for accommodations was fully booked. That led us to the Cedarholm Garden Bay Inn, and we were so wonderfully surprised by our discovery. From the moment you drive onto the property, you are greeted by a fantastic setting and welcoming, enthusiastic hosts. A... More

Cedarholm exceeded our expectations in every way! This is the perfect place to slow down and get in touch with Maine costal life. The cottages are beautifully situated right on the water with fantastic off-shore island views. They are meticulously maintained and appointed; while only a few years old, you'd think they were built yesterday. The breakfast was a great... More

It took five trips to the Camden area before we discovered this beautiful and unique Inn. The owners have created, in pioneer fashion by their own hands and hard work, a magnificent garden with charming, immaculate, and very well equipped cottages overlooking Penobscot Bay. Imagine waking in the morning to a beautiful sunrise and a lobsterman passing by your window... More

Our experience at Cedarholm Garden Bay Inn was exceptional. We stayed in the beautiful oceanfront Loon cottage. The cottage included a very spacious living area, two person whirlpool tub, a stunning wood burning stone fireplace and remarkable ocean views. All four oceanfront cottages are perfectly positioned to give privacy and peace while enjoying your own oceanfront deck. The cottages are... More

Overall experience.... exceptional. This is a very beautiful and private property that overflows with thought and care inside and out. We stayed 5 nights in the Loon cottage and were extremely pleased. What could be better... our own private seaside cottage with windows and French doors filled with water views combined with highly tasteful and comfortable decor. The grounds and... More

My husband and I stayed in the Osprey cabin on this lovely and beautifully maintained property. The cabins are situated for maximum privacy and are very well maintained. We shared a bottle of wine from the local winery while soaking in the fabulous ocean view right in front of us. There is a deck right over the beach bringing your... More

Returned from a trip to Camden and a stay at the Cedarholm 2 weeks ago--ready to go back! We loved our "cottage" (so much more than a cottage) and the grounds are heavenly-never have seen anything like it and I'm so envious! The owners couldn't have been lovelier (Mom and Dad and daughter and husband), with lots of info about... More
