The Inns at Blackberry Common was exactly what a friend/colleague and I needed following a long(ish) drive from Canada and a week of meetings! From the get-go I knew it would be a great weekend. Cyndi, the inn-keeper, emailed me a few days out to confirm we wanted the room with seperate beds - as I'm sure it's not always... More

It was so very nice of you to take the time to write a review...we do so appreciate it! And, when it comes from someone who has such real knowledge and experience in hospitality... who notices all the little details ... it means so much ! We truly enjoyed meeting you and chatting about our lovely little seaside village of... More

The Inns at Blackberry Common far exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this Inn to anyone that will be in the Camden area. The Innkeepers - Jim & Cyndi - the Inn rooms, cleanliness, attention to detail, common rooms, location and gourmet breakfast are all first class. If you have a desire to experience a "Fairy Tale" get away, book... More

This was our second visit with Jim and Cyndi and we hope for many more. The Inn is lovely, the food is beyond excellent, and the friendliness of the hosts and staff make it a great place to stay. We absolutely love Camden and have found the perfect place to "make our nest" while we are there.

I have stayed at the Blackberry Inn more times that I can count. The rooms are great, have a/c for when it is unseasonably warm. I always love the breakfast and it is great that Jim is a cyclist and knows where to ride

An incredible trip to Camden in July was anchored by my 10 nights at this Inn with Cyndi and Jim. From day 1, they both made me feel warmly welcomed. Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by Chef Jim before setting out for one of a thousand adventures in Canden. Cyndi was very helpful with suggestions here. My... More

We stayed here on our way to Bar Harbor. We have also stayed for Christmas by the Sea week-end. The inn is lovely (and the decorations during the Holidays beautiful). Each room has it's own personality. The gas fireplaces are so welcoming and the common rooms cozy and inviting - read the paper, play scrabble, have a glass of wine.... More

My girlfriend and I live relatively close to Camden, but still wanted to stay at a Bed & Breakfast for a romantic weekend retreat. Even in the "quiet season" they had a great selection of rooms. This was essentially a surprise for my lady, and I'm so glad I made this choice, because it exceeded both our expectations. First, the... More

I would highly advise anyone AGAINST staying here. We made a reservation for a 2-night stay, confirming that the inn was dog-friendly. When we checked in, Cyndi Ostrowski (the innkeeper) informed us that, while the inn is dog-friendly, this did not apply to the room we had booked! She claimed that it was the policy of many inns to restrict... More

This is a very old Inn that has been lovingly restored and maintained. our room was very small but perfectly adequate and comfortable. We thought noise from the main road might be a problem as our room was toward the front of the house, but we slept with windows open and were not bothered at all. Jim and Cyndi were... More

We were surprised by a friend with 2 nights at this lovely Inn, which consists of 2 buildings with a number of different rooms of all sizes and layouts. We had one of the smaller rooms, which was quiet, with (like all rooms) a private shower/bath. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful with recommendations for food and exploring the... More
