This was a quaint inn 3 miles from downtown Greenville. It had a hiking trail (somewhat primitive) right next to the inn which offered a beautiful view of Moose Mountain Lake. The room was pretty clean although there was some mildew on the shower curtain so you could tell that it hadn't been washed in a while. There was a... More

The rooms was really cozy (so much so that we looked for a picture they had framed in the room and bought it in the town at one of the stores) the staff were so friendly. There is a hiking trail right beside the inn which hikes up to some great look outs. The hotel is connected to the store... More

Jim and Sheila are charming proprietors. My experience began when I changed my reservation, not once but twice, due to weather and personal events. Each time, the owners were obliging and considerate. My room was immaculate .Bathroom was impeccably clean and also the refrigerator and microwave were spotless. Internet access was flawless. I am certainly not a veteran of Trip... More

Staff was very friendly, but the bathroom was dirty. The shower curtain and mat were mildewed. The facility needs updating. If we were going to stay another night we would have gotten another hotel. More

Moosehead Lake is a special place. When you go, there are many exciting trips, tours, hikes to take. The same people that own Northwood Outfitters by the blinking light, own this place too. We clearly did not get objective advice on places to visit or the best prices. The hotel fronts right against the busy state road. Lumber trucks come... More

Shiela and Jim where warm and welcoming. The rooms where clean and comfortable. I couldn't think of a negative comment to leave if I had to. The location is excellent for all outdoor activities. There is one of the greatest/most challenging quad trails, literally steps away from your hotel door and a cool clean pool, that's open all the time.... More

I can't say enough good things about Jim & Shelia and the Moose Mountain Inn staff. I went up with 4 friends last weekend for 4-wheeling and they were so welcoming. The rooms are clean, staff is extremely friendly. The pool is a great addition, too - very clean and open morning till night. If you're going up for hiking... More

Jim & Sheila will welcome you as soon as you arrive at Moose Mountain Inn with their warm smiles and helpful tips on what to do while you're there. The rooms are clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. You can even rent ATV's and snowmobiles (in the winter, of course) to ride on the trails directly behind the hotel!... More

I'm not really one for writing reviews, but this place is special. I stayed here for two nights towards the tail end of my trip. It's a nice size for an Inn, not too big and not too small. I think there are probably 15-18 rooms in all, on two floors, so it's cozy without the lack of privacy and... More

What a great place to stay when you're heading up North to Moosehead Lake in Greenville, Maine. My husband and I stayed twice during May of 2011 and I was particularly impressed with the clean and comfortable room we had overlooking the lake. While you can enjoy coffee in the room or heat up a snack in your microwave from... More
