Could not have asked for more from Mary at Pleasant Street. Was an excellent host and cook. Breakfast was both convivial and tasty with lots of conversation when needed and none when not. (sign of a good host). The room was comfortable and homely and the tower room a ally sneaky find. Good with a glass of wine ;). More

Stayed here in August to see moose and do some hiking. Mary was so friendly and knowledgable about the area, giving us excellent directions. She made a great breakfast. Do make it a point to have dinner there, you won't be disappointed! We really loved the charm and character of the house. More

As soon as we walked in the door Mary greeted us with that warm & friendly smile that we became accustomed too during our stay. The service from Mary and Jim was exceptional and the rooms were very comfortable. Mary's cooking is something else, like Grandma used to make. All those little treats during the day and wonderful breakfasts of... More

You may find an inn with a better view. You may find a house that is more elegant. You may even find a place that is cheaper. But you will never find a B&B where you will be treated better with a gracious hostess like Mary who serves up the best breakfasts. I highly recommend the Pleasant Street Inn in... More

The Pleasant Street Inn was a great old house and by the end of our trip Jim and Mary were like family to my wife and I. The breakfasts were wonderful each morning and every time we came home to the house it seems that Mary had just got done baking some treat. Any time that we were looking for... More

My husband and I and our two friends have just spent two nights at this wonderful inn. Full of character and placed in the quiet town of Greenville this b & b is ideal to kick back and relax in. We spent a lovely afternoon sitting on the deck watching the world go by and chatting to the owner, Mary.... More

From the first look - one sees a nice mansion. Interriors are interesting and well kept. The hostess is very friendly and really helps. Just one example: we have come to Greenville with the objective to watch mooses. I booked a morning sfari, which starts at 5:45AM. When I mentioned that in the inn we we awarded by the fully... More

Very comfy, cozy made us feel right at home. Mary and Jim could not have been more accomadating. Mywife has dietary issues and Mary was very willing and able to handle it. Would recommend a stay if you are in the area. More

Lovely house in a great location. We were able to park up the car and walk into town for lunch and dinner. The house was spotlessly clean and the rooms were very nice. Great homemade cookies and biscuits in the afternoon. Our host and her daugher, in training, were very amenable. Breakfast was great too. Greenville is a great place... More
