We had an excellent experience at the Lodge at Moosehead Lake this past weekend. Snow and cold and the magnificient winter magesty. Warm hospitality - good food - great breakfasts and wonderful service and attention. Loved it! The room with a cozy fireplace and excellent view of the lake was just the way to spend a long weekend.

The bed was comfortable, the other furniture in the room and common areas was comfortable, the fire was warm and the food was excellent. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Their concierge services were invaluable and we had a great experience. I do not know how you could ask for more.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope your dog is feeling better after his stay with the vet. We look forward to seeing you both again - maybe when its not quite so cold. But, we did have great snow for all of your activities! More

The lodge was beautiful! The staff was amazing and food was delicious! We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated a getaway that reminded us how to relax. Since the lodge is not near much I would recommend on planning on eating there, and the food is well worth it. I would recommend this as a nice getaway for a couple.... More

From the moment we arrived at the Lodge at Moosehead Lake and were greeted by Linda and Chloe (the sweet little French Bulldog, we felt we'd arrived at 'home' for the next 2 days of our stay! Besides having a spectacular view - the Bear Room was absolutely perfect with service twice a day. How nice to come back to... More

This is a great place to see a completely different part of the country. Tons of logging roads to explore and look for moose. The lodge is clean, very quiet, with excellent views, a complete kitchen and the staff is welcoming and friendly. A "must" is dining at the Bigwood Steak House in Jackman. Don't be fooled by the name... More

A truly great place to stay. Aside from its stunning setting, the Lodge itself has an ambience that makes it feel like home and it is beautifully decorated and furnished. I can't do it justice in a few words - if you are planning a trip to this neck of the woods, stay here!

This is a very late post from a very busy person! We stayed at the lodge in the summer and had a wonderful time. Attention to detail is superb and the food was imaginative and delicious. We stayed in the Trout room which was incredibly well appointed and included some home from home features - very welcome after a day... More

The Inn is wonderful! Linda was super friendly and made my stay a joy. Oh! And Chloe the Inn's dog is a sweetheart! The Inn sits high on a hill overlooking the lake and the view of sunsets off the deck is phenomenal. My room was spotless and included a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. They also provide a cooler with... Once again we had a wonderful time. The room was comfortable and beautifully appointed. Dinner was delicious. The grounds are gorgeous (with perfect fall colors). And then, Chloe (the resident french bull dog) was welcoming and gracious. Can't wait to book our next visit.

My husband and I spent an entire week at Moosehead Lodge and loved every minute of our time there. Linda and Dennis could not have been more accommodating and helpful in every way possible. They are warm and friendly, yet professional. They are conscientious about each guest's individual needs. We relaxed, explored, and ate the best food ever ( breakfast... More
