A funeral brought us to Holden, Maine and we luckily found the Lucerne Inn. It was beautifully furnished and was very welcoming. We arrived late due to a snow storm but we phoned in our dinner order which we were served when we were seated. Fireplaces nice!

Beautiful views any season. Love the fireplace and whirlpool tub. Very quiet and they have an amazing Sunday brunch. Close to Ellsworth and not too far from Bar harbor. Has a gorgeous golf course.The dining room also has spectacular views and a nice bar area.
