We have had an excellent meal (again). The staff are first class and the variety on the menu and the quality of the food is second to none! Such a pleasant evening. The Restaurant is also the village pub, and a lovely hotel. The village of Compton Basset is Delightful, picturesque and quintessentially English. Trust me, you will love it.

The food is excellent, with a fine dining edge and the staff and service is warm, friendly and extremely professional. We love the obvious pride taken in ensuring a dining experience is one that would always be recommended and returned to.

Room was nice and comfortable. Sweets and Landscape and animals just in front of the window. Gentle hosts, also the kids felt to be very welcome. Lovely Pub! Good food, great beer :-) Perfekt spot for a real English Bed-and-Breakfast-Stay!
