I remember well our first stay in 1977. I thought the location and view were impossible to beat as well as the room which was clean and neat. To be able to walk out in the early morning and watch the lobster boats leaving and then walk the Marginal Way to see the sunrise is one of my best memories...

Regret that it took this long to write our review , but the Riverside made our Maine experience wonderful. We were only there for 3 days but the rooms, view and service were great!
We had a second floor room which added to the views. Quiet setting on the Cove, and for people who love walking like we do it...

Read all the great reviews of Riverside and found them to be true. We plan to go back again since we were only there a few days and was very relaxing. All the rooms have beautiful views. My wife loved having her morning coffee and watching the fishing boats going out. Make your reservations early.
