We stayed at this hotel with friends booking 2 rooms. The hotel reminded me of an old motor hotel with the buildings/rooms in a u shape surrounding a large pool and a hot tub. There is also an indoor pool on the grounds. The rooms were spacious and clean with a kitchen area, but do not expect anything fancy. It... More

I've only been going to Ogunquit for 7 years, but I've come to realize that all lodging will be overpriced in the summer and Labor Day week-end. Most of the "resorts" are very rustic and basic and expectations should be lowered. That being said, this motel was OK for what we needed. We rented one of the cottages because it... More

We recently spent a great weekend at the Colonial Village Resort. The place was very clean, the people were extremely helpful, and the large pool was fantastic (but c-o-l-d)!!! This place is an excellent value and we will definitely go back there. More

We booked this hotel/motel about a week before a 3 day holiday. Location was good, just north of center of Ogunquit. People who checked us in were nice. Room was okay. We were turned off by the large area in the ceiling of the bathroom that had mold growing on it. It was not "fresh"...it had been there awhile. The... More

We just returned from a 5 night, 6 day stay at the Colonial Village Resort. I have been going to this resort since 1977. This year we brought a couple of brothers and their wives. We had an outstanding time. The front desk people at the resort were VERY pleasant, the rooms were clean and large and travelling to Ogunquit... More

Great place for families with kids. They have a huge pool and hot tub and sunny all day. We loved walking across the river at low tide and going to the ocean beach. At high tide the hotel provided us with paddles and row boats to get across. We don't spend much time in our room on vacation but the... More

We've been to Ogunquit several times, stayed in a number of places. This place is a reasonable option for families with kids-- with a big outdoor pool and an indoor pool, too. We were there with our 21 yr old son-- We got a room with two bedrooms and a Kitchenette. One complaint is the bed in our room was... More

The rooms are small and the beds take up almost all of the space. The furniture looks like it hasn't been replaced in 20 years, and the kitchen is even worse. The 20" TV they put in the living room can only be seen by a few people at a time. That said, the towels were great (although the bathroom... More

If you want to visit Ogunquit, or any other right-near-a-major-beach-area, accommodations are going to cost plenty. My husband and I have been going there for over 20 years now, and Colonial Village is the best value for what they offer. We love the fact that they offer an efficiency room with a 4-burner stovetop, a microwave, and a full-sized fridge.... More
