We stayed here during Lobsterfest, as it is a short drive into Rockland. Do not expect anything modern. It is quaint and charming. Beautiful views of the harbor, and delicious breakfast. Inexpensive and a good value.

This is a quintessential Maine inn--a very pretty building and gardens with gorgeous views of the harbor. We booked from Italy, having found this property on the internet and we didn’t regret. The hotel is very nice, great view and there is the possibility to enjoy a beautiful park overlooking the sea, excellent and varied breakfast. Helpful and polite service staff, particularly the manager. Good cost / services ratio.

Our small but comfy room was on the third floor with two shared bathrooms, one or both of which were usually available.
