We had a very peaceful & relaxing stay at the Narrows Too Cabins. Overall it was a quiet campground. The office/camp store has a good supply of basic camp items. Staff on site were friendly & helpful. The campground is well maintained. If you are coming in a private plane, as we did, this is a great stop. We were... More

Returning to this campground for a visit after a few years' absence, there were many improvements to the facility and grounds. While I consider the term "resort" to be a bit of a stretch, the campground provided everything we needed for our ten day stay. I feel it is a bit pricey considering there's no trash pickup at your site... More

Our stay at Narrows Too was one of the best we have had at a campground. Our site was level and situated in a perfect spot. We had a gorgeous view on the inlet and watched the tide go in and out. We had trees for privacy on both sides of us, but none overhead so the sun could shine... More

As stated in other reviews the campground is a little pricey. Some of the ocean front campsites are nice and bordered by trees between the sites. Other oceanfront sites are not as private and you are right next to another camper with no privacy boudary. The pool was nice and was heated. The bathrooms were also very clean and their... More

Beautiful place to camp. It's conveniently close to Bar Harbor. We found it to be a little on the pricey side. The sites did have any places to dispose of garbage, and when you do dump your garbage, you have to pay extra on top of the site rental. There is a wifi hotspot on site, but again expect to... More

My husband and I read the review by people from Minnesota and roared with laughter. Ocean front land is tidal unless described as deep water. Mainers love tidal land as they can clam there--and having lived on tidal frontage for the last 10 years, it can be beautiful at low tide as the reflection of the sun and clouds makes... More

We traveled to Acadia and our relatives stayed here with a large RV. We made plans late, and this was the closest campground they were able to get to Acadia. They paid $100/night for an oceanfront site, and were extremely disappointed to find that the 'oceanfront' is a small bay that turns into mud during low tide. No listening to... More

We stayed there 3 nights(8/1-4th) while visiting Acadia NP in one of their camping cabins. We are a family of 5 and we were happy with its basic setup including 2 sets of bunkbeds(sleeps 5), heater, microwave and refridge. At age 50 we have outgrown tents, but enjoy camping so the cabins worked great. They even had a covered porch... More

Site says "Spectacular oceanfront and ocean view sites"This is False. It is a small bay. With the tide,it becomes just a big mud hole in the evening.Nothing "spectacular about that"The park is pretty much all gravel, very little grass.Sewer drains don't have threaded couplers. The park was quiet and well maintained.Pool was closed first 2 days of stay,so we never got a chance to... When we checked into this place they gave us a sight right next to the water. They then handed me a very large bill. I explained to them that I was a member of “ Ready Camp Go!” and that I should be paying only $20 per night (after paying a membership of $200) They then apologized and gave us... More
