We just finished our first visit. We found the staff, owners and other campers among the highest quality ever. Holly & George are intelligent & warm. They love people and their Maine camp. Kindness and caring met us all at very turn. You are housed in cabins with a shower & toilet. Beds are fine but it's camp so bring... More

We just finished our 5th visit to Medomak Family Camp. My earlier review still stands and there is little more I can add (please read my Aug 2008 review for lots of details). Medomak is a great place for a family vacation. We are not the only family that returns again and again. This is a place many families have... More

There are no words that I can write that can do the experience we had as a family at Medomak justice. This was our first time at Medomak and weren’t sure what to expect, but were truly blown away by the whole experience. We have kids aged from toddler to a teenager so it has been tough to find vacations... More

I emailed and called the camp imploring them to contact me if they received a cancellation for a particular session (it was all booked up at that time) since it was the only week our family had for our summer vacation. I spoke to Jackie who told me cancellations were rare but that she would definitely contact me if one... More

My husband found Medomak online after I complained that I wanted to go to summer camp like our eleven year old daughter did. Family Camp could have been a risk, but Medomak was so much better than we anticipated. The cabins were great. The food was much better than regular 'ole camp food with a very creative chef and lots... More

If you want to get away with your family to relax and have fun, Medomak is the place! Activities for all ages are planned and supervised. Amazing meals are prepared by their chef. There is plenty to do or not do if you would rather take a nap or read a book. Kids are busy all day with supervised morning... More

We have visited Medomak twice now. Once in 2006 and again this year (2008). Everything the other reviewers have said are true. It’s an amazing vacation for families where you can enjoy lots of activities or do nothing at all. I am not a camper by any stretch of the imagination. I don’t mind the “outdoors” by day, but by... Our family attended this camp this past year (2007) in Maine. We had three generations attend. Having never been to a family camp before we were a little worried. There was no need to be. The staff at Medomak made everyone feel welcome and at ease. Activities were optional for both adults and children. What we liked the most about... More

It is hard to find good inclusive vacations for families with young kids that doesn't involve Orlando. We are so glad we found Medomak...it is great for our kids and our whole extended family. We have been to Medomak Family Camp for three summers in a row now (2005, 2006, 2007). This past summer, our children were ages 7 and... More

Family Camp at Medomak was the best vacation decision we ever made! The property is absolutely beautiful, and the owners and staff could not be nicer. The schedule and pace were good for our family (kids age 5 and 3) and would be perfect for families with kids up to early teenage years. An unexpected bonus was the spectacular quality... More
