Just got home from a wonderful weekend at the Bartlett Pear Inn with my girlfriend. We were in the area for a wedding and chose the Inn based on its Tripadvisor ratings and restaurant. Innkeeper Alice was extremely welcoming and so nice throughout our entire visit. Her husband, Chef Jordan Lloyd was also very nice, a talented chef and even... More

From the time we arrived, Alice, the Innkeeper/Owner was most hospitable. The Concorde Room is spacious, yet cozy. Sitting outside in the courtyard prior to dinner was a great start to a wonderful stay. The Chef's Five Course Tasting Menu was wonderful with wine and cocktail pairings. The Rappahannock River Oyster Trio was a great starter as was the Toscarora... More

The Bartlett Pear Inn is an incredible place to stay and dine. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Jordan's cooking was perfection, perfectly executed. Paul is a terrific mixologist as well. Jordan and Alice bent over backwards to make sure we had a very memorable experience. We... More

This place is a gem. Great location in a charming town with lots of things to see and do. It is really one of the best weekend excursions for parents of young children. Since it is a house, parents can have dinner downstairs after the kids go to bed. It is also a 5 minute drive from the greatest playground... More

The bar is cozy, the cusine excelllent and simply put, this B&B is outstanding. It is a special place and would hope to go back when the opportunity presents itself.

A fabulous dining experience. Exceptional food, warm service....first class all of the way....I would rank this ahead of restaurants like Charleston/Citronelle/Perry Cabin etc. Absolutely a perfect dining experience!

Spent our 21st anniversary weekend here, we were greeted as soon as we arrived in the parking lot by one of the owners, expecting us, greeting us by name, welcoming us to the Inn. Delightful, historic B&B, beautiful property, well maintained, with very welcoming hosts. Clean, comfortable, elegant place. I'd certainly spend another anniversary here!

Stayed at the Bartlett Pear on 2/18/2012 and had dinner there as well. It was our second stay and we absolutely loved it. The property is very well maintained and the all of the pear themed details are quite fun. The room decor is what i would consider kind of "shabby chic" but they have entirely modern bathrooms and any... More

My wife and I spent a delightful winter weekend at the Bartlett Pear Inn. We had a spacious room on the third floor of the house, with a bath and separate sitting/TV area. The public accommodations are even nicer, especially the contemporary bar and white-linen dining room. In the latter Chef Jordan serves delicious breakfasts – we had eggs benedict... More

This B&B in a gorgeous home built in 1790 and lovingly restored, has it all! The gracious architectural details let you know you've arrived at a very special place: high ceilings, wide moldings, beautiful scrolled balustrades, a wide second-story balcony. But the owners (innkeeper and chef) Alice and Jordan have added their own contemporary and sophisticated touches; beautiful colors, contemporary... More
