The price was right and the location was perfect so we picked this hotel. We chose the Americana farthest south in OC, the one without a pool. We love this hotel! The pool is awful and we have never used it but for the price I have no complaints. We stayed from Sept. 3-10th, through Labor Day weekend. The Hurricane shut OC down for the weekend and our hotel wasn't going to be ready till monday but we wanted to get down on sunday.. needed a place for a night. We loved our stay at the Americana Hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. Nice view of the ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient to the boardwalk. Inexpensive. I would definitely stay here again!
