Wish we could give this Inn a "10" -- what a perfect spot for a getaway! We absolutely agree with all of the rave reviews. The hosts (and canine hosts) could not have been more welcoming. Very comfortable and casual atmosphere, stunning and peaceful setting, excellent home-cooked breakfast buffet, beautiful and comfortable rooms, plus abundant wildlife. Each morning we walked... More

Jim and I are delighted that your stay was so rewarding. Descriptions like yours allow us a moment to appreciate the wonderful things about this property when we haven't the time to take a relaxing stroll ourselves. Many thanks! Joanne and Jim More

Even the entrance to this inn is stunning. Can't add too much more to review, the other people have written accurately about the place. Excellent people and dog hosts, food was from country recipes, the library was the most comfortable I've ever seen, our cottage was private and very comfortable, wifi worked well, the grounds were expansive and relaxing. My husband and I were part of a biking group that had the Inn and surrounding cabins booked for two nights. It was a terrrific experience. We had a room in the "big house", although I understand from other guests the 4 cabins were first rate". Our room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The Inn and surrounding grounds were beautiful.... More

My wife and have spent many nights in many B&Bs and have consistently had very good experiences. So to say that this is one of the best is high praise indeed. This isn't your typical restored Victorian B&B. This is more like Thurston Howell the Third's country estate. The main building is a huge rambling country house where your hosts,... More

Well, this is high praise indeed coming from a seasoned traveller! We love your witty descriptions and could only wish that everyone experiences this wonderful property (that we've been blessed to tend) in the same congenial way. Hope you'll visit us again soon. The dogs send their love... Joanne and Jim More

My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Inn at Huntingfield Creek (our 6th or 7th stay here), and it was just as relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable as our previous stays have been. We stayed in the Pond Cottage and enjoyed the comfort and privacy. (We have stayed inside the Inn also; the Trumpington is our favorite room!)... More

When my wife told me we were staying at a B&B I cringed; but it was her birthday weekend so I smiled and went along with it. To my surprise this was the best experience I'd ever had at an Inn of any kind. The property was incredible; we took the dogs for a walk down to the water, visited... More

We are very experienced B&B travelers. Inn at Huntingfield Creek was among the nicest based on the beautiful property with views of the Chesapeake Bay, lovely little clean cottage painted in tranquil colors, with nice amenities, gas fireplace, a big jetted tub, and delicious breakfast. The Innkeepers were helpful, and went out of their way to make up a breakfast... More

We are deeply disappointed that this guest was offended by a spirited breakfast conversation. There were other guests in the research field discussing projects and Jim (owner) interjected a question about funding that opened up a more passionate debate. He certainly did not know that offense was taken. As we do communal breakfast here, and from time to time politics... More

We spent two nights at the inn over Valentines day weekend and found it to be a nice little getaway. We spent the first night in the Trumpington room which was large and comfortable and the second night in the Zen cottage. We definitely preferred staying in the Zen Cottage because of the privacy, small kitchen, gas fireplace and jacuzzi... More

We stayed here over the weekend to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Upon pulling up to the property we knew this was a very special place; it is such a beautiful property. Jim Rich was our host for the weekend. He was very gracious and went out of his way to anticipate our needs and accommodate us. We chose to... More

My wife and I just got back from a wonderful two day getaway at Huntingfield Inn. It is only 2 hours away from South Jersey, but it seemed like a world away. Our host Nancy spoiled us rotten in the absence of the Innkeepers who were on holiday, breakfasts were wonderful, the cozy library room to relax and enjoy a... More
