A no-frills place. Loud, rattly AC unit. WiFi went down for over 12 hours; staff didn't apologize or offer refund. Most front-desk staff were hesitant to offer even basic courtesies like "thank you" or "my pleasure." On the plus side, good location near Metro and restaurants. Modern furniture and fixtures. Room had a small fridge which was thankfully empty (not... More

When I booked the hotel, I chose it for its location near a Metro stop and several restaurants. It appeared to be a boutique botel but when I arrived (not exactly across from the Twinbrook Metro...the Hilton is there...but rather behind the Hilton and across the street and down a flight of stairs)....it is a Holiday Inn Express in the... My family & I are on our last of 3 nights at the Legacy hotel. Thoughts in summary: front desk lady has been rude/strange from the moment we checked in....when we rolled in around 9 pm the first night she was having trouble locating a room for us and when I asked her if there was a problem she went... When I made my reservation, this hotel was part of a fairly upscale management group. It is now going to become a Holiday Inn Express, which is a much more appropriate goal, and I hope that it reaches HIE standards. Here is what I would have liked in my room, but did not have: an easy chair, a desk lamp,... More

I stayed there for a meeting at the National Institute of Mental Health. As this is a government agency, an initial reservation for 3 nights was made through the government travel agency. As the rate was incredibly high (225 $ plus tax; the usual "beltway bandits" rip off), I asked the agency to cancel my reservation (which they subsequently confirmed)... More

My room was small. The walls were thin...lots of noise. I got stuck in the elevator. The shuttle would not pick me up. The manager was noise when i complained.

This hotel is located in a retail area with lots of chain store type shopping. Close to the metro rail. The hotel itself is nice, but not outstanding. The elevator was broken while we were there and we had to take our luggage down three flights of stairs when we left. Nice TV, rooms were clean, staff were polite. No... More

I stayed here two nights for a weekend trip to DC. The hotel was very close to a metro stop and great for getting in and out of DC. Hotel was clean, though it had somewhat small-feeling rooms. Unless you're spending the day hanging out in the room, then it's sufficient. The fitness center was better than average, and it... More

Spouse initially didn't want to stay here as he said room he'd once had was tiny. I found a deal on an executive suite & it was fine. Plenty of space, Jacuzzi tub was a nice bonus, free wifi which is a pleasant change. Interesting windows. Some deals have free buffet breakfast @ attached restaurant but ours did not. Buffet... More

The Hilton across the street was full so we had very little choice at a late hour. The room, double bed, small single sink, curtain shower room was average. Heating/air was average. Every other floor has ice and every floor has vending or soda machine too. The beds were very hard, not too comfortable at all.
