Stayed for one night, Attending to family business. It met all f my requirements. It was clean, safe, There was a restaurant and bar. The food was good. The internet worked. The staff was extremely accomodatng.

This hotel should not get a 3 1/2 star. I would rate a 2 1/2. The rooms are very dated and my shower smelled like mold. The bed weren't terrible but my room was the furthest thing from sound proof. I could hear my neighbors talking, babies crying, and every door shutting on my floor.

The good: The bed was comfortable. Free wifi. Friendly front desk staff. A cookie when you check in. The bad: Expensive. Beaten down rooms with paper walls. Desk chair with a missing a wheel. Where did it go? Who might have noticed it before me (like maybe a cleaning person, if there was one)? Slow elevators. Not enough elevators.

This hotel has a lot going for it. Close to metro for easy trip to downtown, great restaurants nearby, friendly, efficient staff at check-in, an excellent valet service. The room was nice and the location was OK but there is no bus parking for tourists. You also must park using valet parking, which is $15 per day which adds up on a long vacation. Staff was very pleasant at both the front desk and main restaurant. Breakfast and lunch very good. Unfortunately, room was poor --- old, tired. Bathroom was extremely small. I needed a last minute reservation because of an early meeting on a weekend when I couldn't trust Metro to be timely. The location was perfect and everything was well done, clean and the meal was tasty.
