We stayed for two nights during a record heat wave. Room was great, air conditioner cool, and Amanda, the innkeeper and chef, was great. She prepared the breaksfast both mornings that was delicious and made with local, fresh ingredients. Upon request, she will prepare dinner. Ours was wonderful. Go for one of the balcony suites.

Amanda made our stay at the Blue Heron very special. The room was comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. The back porch area was perfect for watching boats come and go in the harbor. The location is very convenient to everything in town. Best part was the gourmet breakfasts which were delicious. Highly recommended!!

Amanda was awesome! The room was excellent! The location was perfect! The food was amazing! We were here on a house hunting trip that was doubling as a honeymoon and decided to spoil ourselves and stay at the Blue Heron. It was well worth it.
