The grounds are nice, but the rooms need attention. In our room, no lamp worked within 12 feet of the bed, and the ancient air conditioner had broken nobs. The sheets and pillows dated seemed like originals from when it was a real tavern in 1776. The tiny bathroom reeked of urine -- we had to throw the rug and... More

I have stayed at the Crocker Tavern twice. I am a resident of California, and found this to be one of the most enchanting homes I have had the pleasure of vactioning in. Our stay at the Crocker Tavern was wonderful! The house and gardens are beautiful and very spacious. You feel as if you stepped back in time.
