The room was quiet & very comfortable, however the bathroom was tiny, but clean. The breakfast provided was fresh and plentiful. The view & sound of the ocean was amazing.The staff(especially Brandon) was pleasant & helpful, making our very 1st trip to Gloucester a good memory. We can't wait to go back!

I stopped by with a friend to check out the Inn for guests to a family wedding. We were greeted with a very arrogant and unfriendly attitude from the clerk. He informed us that they didn't allow "wedding groups". He also claimed to be unable to feed groups at breakfast. I asked how many rooms he had, he replied 57.... More

Bass Rocks Ocean Inn is a fabulous place to stay in Gloucester. The room was very clean; the bedding very comfortable. We stayed in the Seaside House 2nd floor corner room which offers both privacy and great views. The service was friendly and most efficient. We look forward to a return visit.

Exactly what we were looking for. This place is comfortable, clean and has everything you need for lovely stay in the town. All of the staff was friendly and accommodating, and do their best to make sure you are well taken care of.

A beautiful and relaxing Inn! Just across the street from the magnificent ocean, you can hear the water breaking on the rocks from your room! We had a view of the Twin Lighthouses from our room, too.
