We enjoyed our stay of one night in April 2013 at the Lantern House Motel. The owner was very responsive to our needs and the price was much better than other motels in the area. The room was clean and the motel is very conveniently located in Great Barrington, MA.

I left my expensive smartphone behind in my room before I left. No problem. The owners scanned the vacated rooms before the maid and saved the phone for me. well run. Good value. Near a shopping center.

I have been to the area many times,but my first time staying at the Lantern House. However, it won't be my last.It more than meets all of your needs for a great stay. The rooms are large and very clean but still have a cozy country feel. Also a great restaurant close by called ENA'S.

Butternut Ski Resort is a great family mountain and is located less than five minutes from the motel.
