I was looking for a getaway, and knew that I wanted to stay at a B&B, so I began surfing the net (actually, it was Groupon). I came across the Devonfield Inn, and called to ask questions, with the hope of making reservations. When I called, I spoke to Bruce, and he had such an inviting voice and wonderful mannerisms,... Our only regret about Devonfield was that we could not stay longer than two nights. Bruce and Ronnie Singer have decorated this lovely old house to the highest standards, with great taste, but no stuffiness. Although we had one of the smaller rooms, it was certainly roomy enough for the two of us, and very comfortable. The whole house is... More

My husband and I first visited the inn a few years ago for a little mid-winter escape. It was the perfect, quintessential New England experience. We could have hibernated in the room all winter and been perfectly happy. The fire was cozy, the room and jacuzzi were very clean and decorated tastefully, and the view of the pristine, snow covered... More

We spent one night at the Devonfield Inn. ( it was in April, off season, so we were not held to the two night minimum) The Inn is beautiful, of course. However, it's charm was hidden within it's ability to be beautiful and elegantly furnished while maintaining the feel of a private home. You can almost feel what it was... More

Have stayed at many outsatnding B&B's in the area and take an annual long weekend trip each February. The Devonfield is the right mix of old world charm, history, class and modern ammenities. Bruce and his wife Ronnie are wonderful, gracious hosts who know the area well. Our room had a large woodburing fireplace, nice soaking jacuzzi in the corner,... More

We've just returned from our 5th stay at Devonfield, and it just gets more relaxing and luxurious each time. The beauty of this place is that, while it's obviously well thoughtout down to the smallest detail, it still maintains a casual feel. My husband and I usually walk around in our slippers, whether down to breakfast or sitting in the... More

I spent 10 glorius days with a friend over Christmas and New Years at the Devonfield Inn. The Inn had a large natural Christmas tree in the entrance and wood burning fireplace. It was close to Theatre were we saw James Taylor and family in a Christmas Carol. Near by where outlet stores to do last minute shopping. New Years... More

My wife and I spent the night at the Devonfield Inn on our way to spend Christmas with the family and wanted an escape from the normal interstate budget motel. On our way, we found this amazing gem of an inn. When we checked in, Bruce was waiting for us and gave us a tour of the entire house since... More

This review comes a little late, but with the anniversary of my engagment coming up, it prompted me to look up the oh-so-lovely Devonfield. In Nov. 2010, my "boyfriend" and I stayed a weekend in the tree house room for a fall getaway. The room was lovely. Great bathroom w/ jacuzzi tub, huge separate living room with complimentary cognac/glasses to... More

We had the pleasure of staying at this charming bed and breakfast nestled in the Berkshire Mountains on a scenic meadow. The immaculate rooms were beautifully appointed and luxuriously comfortable, while maintaining the grace and integrity of this historic country estate. The sumptuous breakfasts were served on beautiful china in the lovely dining room overlooking the meadow. The warmth from... More
