I have spent 4 or 5 nights at Marblehead on Harbor in the last 18 months and it is nothing short of spectacular. The house itself is charming and filled with lovely antiques, Persian carpets and all sorts of interesting memorabilia and period pieces. Marblehead on Harbor is situated high above Marblehead harbor with water views from every window in... More

My husband and I had a wonderful one-night stay with Becky Burckmyer at her home, Marblehead on Harbor. It is a beautiful three-story home built in 1888, on the harbor with fantastic views, and the home is filled with history and antiques. Becky is "the hostess with the mostess" and will assure that all your needs are met, including a... More

Sorry. I do not mean to be unkind, but my husband and I will unfortunately not return to Marblehead on Harbor. The folks we dealt with were kind and hospitable (Barbara and her husband who met us). Hostess, Becky was away and we never met her. However, Barbara, the person in charge in Becky's absence was kind and friendly to... More

As the owner of Marblehead on Harbor, I am so very sorry that this guest had a negative experience with us--it has happened only once before and I take it very seriously. If he/she would ever want to give us another try, I will endeavor to give him/her a rebate and a better time. The reviewer is right about the... More

Maybe it's not fair to stay anywhere after A Little Dream b&b in Camden, Maine. I mean after perfection, what can come close? Marblehead on Harbor isn't even playing the same game! What a dump! Yes, the house is in a wonderful location. And yes, our room had a lovely porch, overlooking a scenic harbor. But the place is tired.... More

First, oh dear. I am so very sorry Ms. A had such a negative experience at Marblehead on Harbor! As you read the other reviews, it seems possible that she is looking for a different sort of place from mine: after all, one person's shabby furniture may be another person's charming antique, and being treated like a guest in one's... What a gem… We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gracious home on the harbor. It was a fabulous getaway – there’s nothing like sitting on the wraparound porch, sipping lemonade, and feeling the wonderful, waterfront breezes while taking in the spectacular harbor views. The location is the perfect combination of a quiet, quaint neighborhood yet close to lovely Marblehead... More

It's like your favorite Aunt Becky has a great rambling 1881 house with a porch looking out across one of the most historic sailing ports in New England, and she wants you to come visit. You should go. Cherries in the front hall one day, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies the next. The house is beautiful and homey. Becky is great.... More

This was the best night of our 7 state New England trip and staying at Becky's House on the Harbor was like living there as she has done for years. With four rooms to rent my Mother, Sister, Brother, and friends all had plenty of space. Dealing with terminal cancer I spent the entire afteroon on the deck watching the... More

I stayed here at the start of my first trip to the states. Becky was the most welcoming, friendly and accommodating host I could ever have wished for and the house itself was stunning. I arrived without a car (not usual I know) and Becky made sure I was able to get around. I would highly recommend this amazing place... More

Marblehead on Harbor was such a great experience! The owner, Becky was so helpful and accomodating that I felt like we were staying with a long lost relative for the weekend. The inn is absolutely beautiful, clean, and located on a harbor with amazing sunsets. We stayed on the third floor. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a... More
