We stayed in this refurbished motel on a trip to visit colleges around Smith. The motel is literally across the street from campus. It's adequate and comfortable, but not particularly charming or elegant. We had an excellent rate through Hotwire.com; if I had paid their full rate I would have definitely been less happy with the hotel. Adequate continental breakfast... More

We found the Autumn Inn charming and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the beds and pillows were great. The continental breakfast was fine, though the coffee was not the best. It is located very close to Northampton, a great little city to visit. The air conditioner was a little wonky but the temperature was... More

This was my first experience visiting the college town of Northampton, Mass. My daughter and I wanted to stay in a comfortable and affordable place near Smith College and this fit our needs and budget just right! We could walk to the college as the Inn is only a few scenic blocks away and we liked that it is nestled... More

Almost on campus. Nothing outstanding, except the massive fireplace (a whole wall - really) in the inviting breakfast area. If it is cool or cold weather, there will be a nice, warming fire in the morning with your coffee and newspaper. Worth geting up early in order to have a fireside easy chair and coffee before breakfast. This great room... More

It's a basic b&b style motel. Rooms aren't flash but they are adequate. I couldn't get my heater to work but even so the room wasn't cold. They have updated televisions with cable tv. Breakfast is basic and includes a make it yourself waffle station. Not a flash hotel but okay, I thought it was overpriced for what you get... More

I have stayed here several times while on business at Smith College. The rooms are clean and the beds have recently been replaced - very comfortable. The breakfast is simple - try your hand at making a waffle! It is a short, pleasant walk to downtown. The staff are wonderful and if you are an early riser, fresh coffee is... More

The rooms were very clean and the beds were beyond comfortable with the pillowtop padding. They offer a continental breakfast, and the "great room" has an inviting fire burning in the mammoth fireplace. The walk to downtown was nice- past the college ,about 1 mile but not too bad at all. Staff was very nice and friendly.

This hotel was comfortable and sweet. Certainly not a 5-star hotel with lavish decor and lots of amenities but it was just perfect nonetheless. It is 70's style and homey. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I found the staff to be very accommodating and nice. An adequate breakfast was served each morning at no cost and coffee,... More

I stay in hotels 10 to 15 nights a month and the Autumn Inn is a welcome change from the big box hotels. It is has large rooms that are clean and well kept with comfortable beds. I look forward to staying here the large fire place in the front room makes it feel like home .

We were passing through Northampton and the Autumn Inn was recommended in our guide book, so we stayed there for one night and had a perfectly pleasant stay and have no complaints. We spent 2 weeks in New England and the Autumn Inn was nearly the cheapest place we stayed (2nd to motel in Milford) yet the room size was... More
