Clean sites, fireplace in working order, not just a pile of tumbled down stones, clean bathrooms, prompt cleaning of said bathrooms daily, and often more than that! Great staff, courteous and kind! Fully stocked camp store, great swimming on beach with shade trees, boats for rent, pavilions for family style dinners with other campers if you like! Close to so... More

Stayed here Oct. 18, 11. Travelling in our RV with two std. poodles. Charged us $10 extra per day for dogs and we were relegated to a "Pet" site. Nothing provided for the fee. Not even an endless supply of gold doggy bags. Could not leave our dark forest site to enjoy any of the site amenities as could not... More

Visiting Pinewood Lodge campground has been a family tradition for many years. The campground itself is beautiful and it is very well maintained. I am always pleased to find clean restroom facilities. Rates (& any other fees) are clearly stated on their printed information and are comparable with other campgrounds in the area. In the few instances where there have... More

The first night we stayed in one of the cabins. There was a big problem with carpenter ants. A number of times I was woken up by something crawling on me. I went into the next room to be greeted by atleast 15 to 20 of the ants crawling on the walls and floor. I understand the cabin is located... More

My wife and I are new to camping and have recently purchased a camping trailer. We found this campground through the Good Sam website when we needed to come to Plymouth in July. We found it to be quite well-maintained and our site had a great location overlooking the lake. The bathrooms were serviceable and clean, but they do charge... More

We just spent a long weekend at Pinewood Lodge in Plymouth, MA. This is our second year staying there. Last year we rented a cabin for the weekend. This year we decided to rent a deluxe cabin instead. There was plenty of room for my family of four. There is a futon in the lving area with a small table... More

Got a bunch of friends together and rented sites at the campground. They were very accommodating. We were able to rent canoes, kayaks, and even a row boat during our weekend stay. The bathrooms and showers were clean, staff was courteous and even went out of their way to make us feel at home. We were surprised at how many... More

We stayed at the Campground for two nights in a tent site. The sites aren't as "private" as you would think from the pictures on the website or the map (showing lots and lots of trees). There are many pine trees, but they are so old and tall that they don't give the sites any privacy at all. That said,... More

The toilet backup was due to our electricity suppliers equipment failure. We contacted them immediately and waited for them to correct the problem. Which they did. Our security staff doesn't speak to people who are following the rules. Our fire places (not rings) are all quite high in the back. Fires should not go above them as it creates a... More
