Stayed for one night in March 2012. Location is superb in the heart of Sandwich village and not far from highway 6. Richard is a very welcoming host, and our room (the Voden room) was a good choice - reasonable size, VERY cosy, and a brilliant bed (with steps!). En-suite bathroom was clean and tidy. The house is quite small... More

Five times and counting! After staying at many very pleasant B&B's in Sandwich, the Quince Tree is our place to stay. Within walking distance of town center, it has the easy comfort of home. Richard is a an attentive host and his fabulous three course breakfasts are different every day. He provides tasty snacks and sherry or port for after... More

We stayed for 3 nites last week and was impressed with Richards attentiveness . He was a pleasure to see everyday and recommended various things that tuned out to be great. The inn is situated right in the middle of a quiet town with a main street that's away from the busy highway. You can walk to the museums and... More

This was our second visit to the 1830 Quince Tree House and it was as delightful as the first time. We usually stay for at least a week. The rooms are well-maintained, and decorated with beauty and functionality. The innkeeper makes superb breakfasts, is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The inn is conveniently located within easy walking distance... More

I will start by saying that the beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were great. Three courses were served and they do ask you about allergies . . . upon arrival. What I was extremely disappointed with was the price and the advertised amenities. Upon arriving and seeing the suite, it did not look like the room advertised on... More

We are pleased to give the 1830 Quince Street House an excellent review. Seldom do we find such attention to detail and cleanliness. The house is interesting and one 'feels' as being back a few centuries. The Voden Room was very attractive and the bed was wonderful. No back ache here. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Richard is an... More

When I first arrived, I didn't have a high expectation because usually all B&B are all the same. But man, I was surprised! Richard, the owner, took us on a tour and showed us the cozy living room full of books, Dvds, sweet treats. He also serves liquour that's always on the table fever you wanna have a glass after... The QTH is a beautiful period house.Relaxing, comfortable and with great attention to detail. The breakfasts, home cooked by Richard, were to die for.We stayed in the Samuel Beale suite on the ground floor which was exceptionally spacious and a delight.
