Needed an inexpensive place and this was it. An older place, but clean. Half hour or so (if you don't get caught in rush hour traffic) south of Boston. Only complaint was the water for the shower could have been a little hotter!

Needed a place to spend the weekend, until we could get unloaded Monday. Came a snow, power went out, so no heat. Would stay here again.
Beds are acceptable, rooms are pretty standard, but did have a fridge and microwave. Cleaning lady seemed to have missed the bathroom judging by some pre-existing hair and soap scum, but aside from that it was clean enough. I'd stay again no problem if deals are available.
the motel is 10 minutes drive from a train that gets you Straight Boston. in my opinion it "worth" the trouble since you pay much more to stay in Boston center.
there were a few spiders in the bathroom and the breakfast is really lame, that's served in the lobby.
there's a pool outside but we never had a chance...

Clean rooms, in a row, backing on to the trees. No aircon coffee or sodas because of the power restrictions, following Irene. Aircon back on at 3am (phew). Very limited breakfast in small room. Handy for Irish bar and restaurant next door. Quick drive over to Quincy Adams to park and get the Red line into Boston
This Econo Lodge is barely okay for a person on the minimum budget in the two story brick building. Stay away from the one story cabin like building, it is a bit scary like a bad camping trip or a horror movie. I was put in a smoking room and they tried to blame it on Orbitz. The staff is...

The hotel is old, motel style, probably built in the 60's, updated around 2000. You won't find a cheaper place right off route 1.
If you are like me, and were travelling alone, and just needed a place to stay, go for it. The office check in with bulletproof glass is a bit much if you ask me, but proximity...

First the positives: the room was very clean. There is wi-fi, although I got kicked off every 10 minutes or so, which was a bit frustrating. I think you need to have pop-up blockers turned off for the wifi to work properly. There's a fridge and a microwave in the room, but the microwave is so old it didn't work...
