I really love writing those reviews that make a place "shine" but I just can't with this one. I am traveling for work and always try to find a place that might be fun and yet not too expensive. I did not check out area before I got into town... heard there was a casino and was here around 15... More

I stayed here and went snowmobiling up the Keewenaw for the day. It is very convenient because the trail is right in the parking lot. It is an older hotel, probably from the 80s's, and nothing fancy. I am not a gambler and not a smoker so it wasn't great for me on that respect. It was really smokey....really, really... More

Went on snowmobile trip stayed close by. Decided to visit the casino. Wow was I amazed. It's a Saturday night and they had 3 out of the 10 tables going. No ventilation and so smokey it's hard to see and breathe. It also has a real weird thing attached to it a bowling alley/bar just as smokey. The people that... More

It is an Indian Casino and they do smoke a lot there, you have to go through a cloud of smoke to get to the check-in desk, and finally go to your non-smoking room. Ours was a bit musty and I wanted to open the window, but noticed that the screen had apparently been cut....kinda scary. All the rooms are... More

This little restaurant has had many owners over the years, but this is about the newest ones. I went there on recommendation and yes, the decor is very old. It is clean, however and the staff friendly. I ordered a BLT and onion rings. The sandwich was very good, lots of bacon, had shredded lettuce. The onion rings were excellent... More

My husband, teenage sons, 2 elderly parents, and myself went to this hotel for a 4 day stay. Only stayed 1 night. The stale smoke smell permeated everything (horribly) even though the rooms were "no smoking", and the smell of disinfectant only made things worse. The beds "crunched" when you sat on them or rolled over due to plastic covers... More

This hotel is connected to the Ojibwa Casino. This makes the entire place smell a little like smoke (people smoke in the casino). Very reasonably priced at $49/night. Included in this is a casino package ($5 cash, free rail drink, $5 certificate to gamble with). Had to change rooms once because of broken blinds. But they changed us, no problem.... More

we rented 3 rooms for a week you would think the front desk staff would be a little nicer. they were the most unfriendly and rudest people I have ever met. we will not return to this casino again nor would i recommend it to friends or family. the manager was told of this problem and did not seem to... very nice place - we really enjoyed the "Pit Stop" for great burgers, tacos, beers, and bowling! most of the staff was very nice and willing to help, as with all places some of them "just did their job". the Front desk and the staff at the Pit Stop were great and really busy! Patrick, Gerlinda and Gerlinda Jr. were... More
